Connect Todoist

Todoist provides a private access code called an API token. Openza Tasks uses this token to read your Todoist tasks and update their completion status.

Copy your Todoist token

1. Sign in at todoist.com.
2. Open Settings from your profile menu.
3. Open Integrations, then Developer.
4. Copy the API token shown by Todoist.

Caution

Treat this token like a password. Anyone who has it may be able to access your Todoist account.

Connect Todoist in Openza Tasks

1. Open Settings in Openza Tasks.
2. Open Integrations.
3. Paste the token into the Todoist field.
4. Select Connect Todoist.
5. Open Sync and select Sync now.

Windows protects the saved token on this PC.

Troubleshooting

Todoist says the token is invalid

1. Copy the complete token again from Todoist settings.
2. If needed, create a new token in Todoist.
3. Disconnect Todoist in Openza Tasks, then connect it again.

Tasks are not syncing

1. Check your internet connection.
2. Open Sync and select Sync now.
3. Confirm that your Todoist token is still active.
