Notifications
Flow can show a Windows notification when a new review request appears.
How notifications work
Section titled “How notifications work”- Notifications are off until you enable them.
- Existing review requests do not trigger notifications on the first refresh.
- Later refreshes notify you only about newly found review requests.
- Selecting a notification can open Flow and the related pull request when supported.
Run in background
Section titled “Run in background”By default, closing the window exits Flow. If you enable Run in background, closing the window hides Flow in the system tray and lets it continue checking for review requests.
The tray menu lets you open Flow, refresh, pause or resume notifications, and exit.
Notifications do not appear
Section titled “Notifications do not appear”Check:
- Notifications are enabled in Flow.
- Windows allows notifications from Flow.
- Do Not Disturb or Focus Assist is not hiding them.
- Flow is open or Run in background is enabled.
