I am programming in .NET since last 2 years and sometimes I feel very bored in doing the same thing again and again in .NET. And more of that if you are working with Microsoft Technologies you have to spend a lot of money for a new IDE every two or three year. So I have tried to give a chance to Open Source. Then…
… the first thing comes in mind was PHP. But I don’t like PHP because it seems me just like the old ASP coding. I like to program in object-oriented languages like C#, Java etc. Last week one of my friend come to me and just ask “Why are not trying Ruby on Rails?”. I have earlier heard about this but I was surprised that my friend who is not a programmer is talking about Ruby on Rails aka RoR. So I have started to search about RoR on web and I have found very praises for RoR on most of the blogs. I have then decided to Ride the Rails as soon as possible. And now I am developing test applications in RoR in just one week.
